Cannon Falls, Minnesota

Cannon Falls is a city in Goodhue County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 4,083 at the 2010 census.

Cannon Falls Township was settled in 1854, organized in 1858. Cannon Falls city was platted in 1855, incorporated as a village in 1874, and became a city in 1905. The post office was first called Cannon River Falls from 1855-1889. It had a station of the Chicago Great Western Railroad.
